I am using a LumoPro LP160 Manual Flash far right of the DJ booth for most of the images. I also combine the use of a Canon 580 EX II to even out the lighting in a lot of the images (or sometimes I just use the Canon!) I find the lighting to be a lot more dramatic when it is used off camera, and the DJ's generally prefer this as well!
